La Prima Estate 2026: the Tuscany festival that feels like a beach vacation

La Prima Estate 2026 lands on the Versilia coast with a simple idea: you don’t have to choose between beach time and live music. The festival takes place at Parco BussolaDomani in Lido di Camaiore, across two weekends—June 19–21 and June 26–28, 2026—with shows starting at 6:30 PM each evening, just 50 meters from the sea.

What La Prima Estate 2026 is like in practice

If you’re planning a summer trip to Tuscany, this is the kind of festival that works with a vacation schedule instead of fighting it. The setup is straightforward: four concerts per night, inside a large green park near the beach, with relax areas and a broad food & beverage zone.

The travel appeal is logistics. Versilia is built for beach days—structured shoreline, restaurants close to the water—and the festival emphasizes that hotel, beach, and concerts stay concentrated within a few hundred meters. In other words: you can spend the day by the sea, then walk to the park for live music without turning the trip into a marathon.

La Prima Estate 2026 lineup and dates

The June program balances big names, direct rock energy, and acts that tend to shine on stage.

Weekend 1: June 19, 2026 (Friday)

Jack White + The Hives + Sunday (1994)
The opening night is rock-forward and fast-moving. Jack White headlines, sharing the bill with The Hives, a band he recently mentioned as a major inspiration in a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame speech. Sunday (1994) shifts the mood with dream pop and a more cinematic atmosphere.

Weekend 2: June 26–28, 2026

June 26 (Friday): Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds + Sleaford Mods + Emiliana Torrini
This is the “sunset into night” bill. Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds arrive with a live reputation built over four decades, reaching into the era of Wild God. Sleaford Mods bring a raw, abrasive British post-punk edge. Emiliana Torrini, an Icelandic singer with Italian roots, adds a more intimate set in the space between dream pop and folk—exactly the kind of sound that suits an early evening by the sea.

June 27 (Saturday): Gorillaz + Wolf Alice + Nation of Language
Saturday leans into a bigger, more “event” atmosphere. Gorillaz—the project created by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett—arrive ready to mark 25 years of their virtual universe. Wolf Alice is positioned by the festival as a strongly valued name in the current scene, in a new phase following The Clearing (recorded in Los Angeles with Greg Kurstin, according to the festival material). Nation of Language brings synthpop with themes the festival highlights as centered on loss, friendship, and human connection.

June 28 (Sunday): Twenty One Pilots + Wet Leg + guests
The final night closes with Twenty One Pilots, the American duo known for big productions and major audience numbers. Before them, Wet Leg bring sharp, fresh indie rock with a direct, ironic tone and a strong stage presence, tied here to the album Moisturizer.

General Admission vs Garden: what changes

If you want the standard experience, Standing (General Admission) is the straightforward option: you’re inside the festival, with access to the concert area, food & beverage, and the event’s activities.

Garden is for a more comfortable setup and a closer view. The festival describes it as an “oasis” near the stage, covering half of the front-of-stage area, with a dedicated entrance, a reserved bar under a portico facing the stage, and dedicated restrooms. It also has a detail that matters in real life: you can leave and re-enter the Garden area, moving between food & beverage and the other sector.

Why Versilia and Parco BussolaDomani make sense for this concept

Parco BussolaDomani isn’t just a convenient patch of green near the beach—it has its own music history. The festival material recalls that a large tent venue once stood here and, between the 1970s and 1980s, it was one of Italy’s key live-music spots, hosting names such as Frank Zappa, Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald, Mina, Lucio Dalla, and Spandau Ballet.

Versilia reinforces the point of the trip: a coastline described as one of Italy’s most beautiful rivieras, where the sea and the hills sit a few kilometers apart, with solid beach infrastructure and an easy rhythm that lets you alternate slow days and big nights. The festival also cites institutional partners Comune di Camaiore and Regione Toscana, and names Virgin Radio as the official radio partner.

A simple way to plan your days

Think of La Prima Estate as a schedule you can actually enjoy: beach time during the day, then a short walk to the park for music, dinner, and a late-evening return—without feeling like you “lost” a vacation day to see a show.

If you already have someone in mind who would be obsessed with this kind of trip, share the idea now—this is the sort of weekend people plan early, especially when the venue is this close to the sea.
