Follonica has been on our radar for years when it comes to summer escapes, and during our last trip, we discovered this small but perfectly cared-for B&B — ideal for couples who want comfort, style, and convenience in one of Tuscany’s most popular seaside towns.

B&B Oltremare Follonica: Cozy Rooms for Couples

B&B Oltremare is an excellent accommodation for couples visiting Follonica. It’s located inside a completely renovated apartment, transformed into a welcoming tourist structure with just three exclusive rooms — the perfect setup for a peaceful stay away from the crowds.

The rooms are modern, spotless, and equipped with all the essentials for a relaxing break. During our stay, we found the room exactly as you’d hope after a long summer day: powerful air conditioning, a super comfortable bed, plenty of outlets for charging devices, and a well-maintained bathroom with a modern shower.

Access is simple and secure, with a digital code or key card system. Just be aware that there’s no elevator, so you’ll need to walk up a short flight of stairs — nothing too demanding, but travel light if possible. We only had two backpacks, which made everything easy.

We spent one night at B&B Oltremare in June 2025, while visiting Follonica for a padel tournament at the nearby Follonica Sporting Club.

Our daughters were with their team, and we took the opportunity to enjoy a peaceful night at B&B Oltremare.

The location is one of the highlights of B&B Oltremare. It’s situated on Via Bruno Buozzi 50, right in the heart of Follonica. You can easily walk to most places:

• Follonica Train Station: Just 350 meters away (5 minutes on foot), making it ideal if you’re arriving by train.
• Beach Access: Around 500 meters away — a short stroll and you’ll be at the sea. We didn’t make it to the beach this time, as we were focused on the tournament, but it’s a great option if you plan to enjoy the coastline.
• Follonica Sporting Club: Approximately 4 km away (about an 8-minute drive), perfect if you’re visiting for sports events or want to schedule a padel class with a local Italian coach.

We arrived by car and had no issues finding parking near the entrance — a big plus during busy summer weekends.
