Discover the Art of Pasquale Celona in Pistoia with “Miraggi”
The Miraggi exhibition, organized by Jacopo Celona and Melanie Zefferino, showcases over thirty paintings spanning more than four decades of artistic career.

Highlights include the works “Primavera” (1985) and “Annunciazione” (1992), which demonstrate Celona’s mastery in capturing the essence of his subjects. The paintings range from still lifes to landscapes and seascapes, reflecting a dreamlike atmosphere that oscillates between the real and the imaginary.

Born in 1943, Calabrian by birth but Tuscan by adoption, Pasquale Celona, along with his brother Piero, conceived and launched the “Florence Biennale” in 1995. This International Exhibition of Contemporary Art and Design (of which he is now President) has achieved extraordinary results in 14 editions and is preparing for another extraordinary moment next year with the XV edition and over thirty years of activity.
Melanie Zefferino describes Celona’s work as a transposition of his visions of landscapes and figures, immersed in a magical atmosphere. The paintings evoke memories and myths, with a unique interpretation of Western and contemporary cultural heritage. The exhibition is a must-see for art lovers and those seeking a rich and inspiring cultural experience.
