The season opened in July with the Gala lirico “Amiata” and ran through August with Laurence Kilsby, Joyce DiDonato, Fabio Biondi and Luca Micheletti. Two concerts are still to come at Forum Fondazione Bertarelli, and they are the ones worth planning a trip around now.
On Sunday, September 6, 2026, at 7:00 PM, pianist Alice Sara Ott plays a programme built around John Field and Beethoven. Field is the Irish composer whose nocturnes came before Chopin’s and largely invented the form; pairing them with Beethoven makes for an unusually intimate evening in a hall designed for acoustics rather than grandeur.
The season closes on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 7:00 PM, with the Trio Concept and violist Hélène Clément. The concert is the public end of a week-long artistic residency, in which the young Italian trio works on its repertoire with the guest musician before performing it — one of the training projects that give Amiata Music its character.

By car, the suggested route is via the SS223/E78 Grosseto-Siena road, exiting at Paganico Nord. From there, follow signs toward Monte Amiata and after about 4 km turn right toward Sasso d’Ombrone. At the first junction after the village, turn right toward Poggi del Sasso and continue for about 4 km until you reach the ColleMassari estate and the forum. Parking is available on site.
If you are arriving by train, the closest railway station is Grosseto. Fast trains from Rome take about 1 hour and 25 minutes. From Grosseto station, the final 42 km take around 40 minutes by taxi.
The venue can also be reached from the airports of Florence, Pisa, and Rome. Reported distances are about 140 km from Florence, 178 km from Pisa, and 213 km from Rome, with estimated driving times between two and two and a half hours.
