He was born in the year that World War II was coming to an end.

The Exhibition of Anselm Kiefer in Florence at Palazzo Strozzi

Curated by Arturo Galansino, General Director of the Palazzo Strozzi Foundation, the exhibition presents an original path through Kiefer’s historical works and new productions.

This show, titled “Anselm Kiefer. Fallen Angels,” offers visitors the chance to come into direct contact with the great artist, providing an experience that goes beyond the visual to touch the conceptual space of the works.

One of the most fascinating aspects of this exhibition is the dialogue established between Kiefer’s works and the Renaissance architecture of Palazzo Strozzi.

A new major work, created specifically for this occasion in conversation with the Renaissance courtyard, promises to be one of the highlights, showcasing Kiefer’s ability to integrate his themes and techniques with specific historical and architectural contexts.
