Organized by the historic Alexanderplatz Jazz Club of Rome in collaboration with the Municipality of Orbetello, the Orbetello Jazz Festival 2025 brings together acclaimed Italian and international artists for an unforgettable four-day celebration of live music.

Thursday, September 4
6:00 PM – Piazza del Comune
Marco Guidolotti Trio feat. Ida Landsberg, Felice Tazzini will open the festival with timeless vocal jazz classics from legends like Cole Porter and George Gershwin. (Free entry)
9:00 PM – Polveriera Guzman (Via Mura di Levante)
Alan Soul & gli Alanselzer will deliver a high-energy soul, R&B, and rhythm & blues performance, led by Giulio “Alan Soul” Todrani — a historic voice of Italian soul and father of singer Giorgia. (€10 entry)

6:00 PM – Piazza Giovanni Paolo II
ButNot4Trane feat. Mirco Capecchi will present a set inspired by Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Thelonious Monk, and Steve Swallow. (Free entry)

Brazilian singer Rosalia De Souza will enchant the audience with her bossa nova and Brazilian popular music, combining sweetness, sensuality, and depth in her voice. (€10 entry)

Japanese singer and trumpeter Toku will take the stage with pianist Giovanni Mirabassi (winner of 17 gold records), Gianluca Renzi (double bass), and Enrico Morello (drums) for an elegant and emotionally rich performance. (€10 entry)

6:00 PM – Piazza Giovanni Paolo II
Brazilian pianist, composer, and singer Jim Porto will close the festival with his group Bloco Do Gi Gin, offering a vibrant mix of samba, bossa nova, and jazz. (€10 entry)

Artistic director Eugenio Rubei describes the Orbetello Jazz Festival as “one of the most awaited and important events in the lagoon area,” bringing top names from the national and international music scene to Orbetello.
