Ultimo in Florence is one of the most talked-about live shows of summer 2027 — even if you have never heard the name before. On Saturday, July 10, 2027, the Roman singer-songwriter Niccolò Moriconi, known simply as Ultimo, brings his new stadium tour “Stadi 2027 – La favola continua…” to the Ippodromo del Visarno, inside Florence’s Parco delle Cascine. If you are visiting Tuscany that weekend, this is the kind of event locals actually go to — not a tourist attraction, but a genuine slice of Italian pop culture happening right in the city.

Who Is Ultimo? Italy’s Sold-Out Stadium Phenomenon

If you’re not from Italy, there’s a good chance you’ve never come across Ultimo — and that’s exactly the point. He is one of the biggest live draws in the country right now, filling stadiums the way only a handful of Italian artists can, largely without much of a footprint outside Italy.

Born Niccolò Moriconi in Rome in 1996, Ultimo started writing music at age 8 and won Italy’s leading hip hop contest for emerging artists in 2016. His debut album Pianeti (2017) launched a career built on melodic, emotionally direct songwriting; his follow-up Peter Pan became the best-selling album among all artists who competed at the 68th Sanremo Festival.

In June 2026 he released his seventh studio album, Il giorno che aspettavo, which debuted at number one on Italy’s FIMI chart and stayed there for two consecutive weeks. His best-known songs — including “Il Ballo delle incertezze”, “Poesia senza veli” and the double-platinum “Cascare nei tuoi occhi” — are the kind of tracks most Italians under 40 can sing along to word for word.

“Stadi 2027”: A Nationwide Phenomenon

The scale of Ultimo’s popularity became impossible to ignore in July 2026, when his show “Ultimo 2026 – La favola per sempre” at Rome’s Tor Vergata sold a record-breaking 250,000 tickets in a matter of hours — one of the fastest sellouts in recent Italian concert history.

That night gave birth to “Stadi 2027 – La favola continua…”, a 17-date tour across 11 Italian cities between June and July 2027: Lignano Sabbiadoro, Bologna, Padua, Milan, Naples, Messina, Reggio Calabria, Bari, Florence, Turin and Olbia.

Bologna, Milan and Messina each got a second date added due to demand — and the first dates in Bologna, Milan and Reggio Calabria are already sold out. It’s a useful reminder that this isn’t a niche cult following: it’s mainstream, stadium-filling pop music, the kind that dominates Italian radio and playlists every summer.

If you’re curious about the rest of the tour, or want to catch Ultimo in another Italian city, the full list of tour dates and tickets is available on the official ticket seller’s site.

Ippodromo del Visarno: The Venue in Parco delle Cascine

The Ippodromo del Visarno, also known as the Visarno Arena, sits inside Florence’s Parco delle Cascine, the city’s largest public park, stretching along the Arno river just west of the historic center. It’s the same venue that hosts Firenze Rocks every summer, so it’s well set up for large open-air concerts.

Because it’s inside a park rather than in a purpose-built stadium, expect a more open, festival-like atmosphere than at Ultimo’s other tour stops — with plenty of green space around the arena itself.

How to Get to the Show

Parco delle Cascine is easily reachable from central Florence on foot, by tram, or by taxi, and there is parking available near the park for those arriving by car.

If you’re coming from another Italian city and don’t want to drive, BusForFun runs dedicated round-trip coach services to the concert, with departures from several cities across Italy. It’s a convenient option that takes the parking and late-night-drive stress out of the equation — check the site for the departure point closest to you.

Where to Stay in Florence for the Concert

If you haven’t arranged accommodation yet, take this opportunity to book your hotel in Florence.

Staying somewhere with easy access to Parco delle Cascine and the western side of the city center will make the night of the show much easier — especially if you plan to walk or take a short taxi ride back after the concert.

A Local Experience Worth Having

Most visitors to Florence never get the chance to see what a genuinely massive night out looks like for Italians themselves — not the Uffizi, not the Duomo, but 30,000 people singing every word of a song they grew up with. Ultimo in Florence is exactly that kind of night: a show built for locals that happens to be open to anyone in town.

Tickets are still available here — but with General Admission the only category left, it’s worth deciding sooner rather than later.
