Itabus Expands Routes Internationally: Find Out When and Where

Starting from October 16, 2024, Itabus, a long-distance bus transportation company and part of the Italo group, will launch its first international routes, connecting major Italian cities to Ljubljana in Slovenia and Zagreb in Croatia. This expansion marks a significant step for the company, offering travelers more options to explore Europe with convenience and comfort.

Itabus Expands Routes Internationally and Strengthens Connections Across Italy

There will be six daily connections (three outbound and three return) linking cities like Naples, Rome, Florence, Bologna, Ferrara, Padua, Venice, Trieste, Verona, Milan, and Turin to the Slovenian and Croatian capitals. The routes will be split into two main directions: one departing from Naples, Rome and Florence with four daily trips, and another from Turin and Milan with two services per day.

For maximum comfort and convenience, Itabus offers both morning departures (10:00 from Rome or 8:15 from Milan) arriving in Ljubljana and Zagreb in the evening, as well as overnight trips for those looking to optimize their travel time.

Integration with Italo Trains – One of the key benefits of this new offering is the possibility to combine train and bus journeys with a single ticket.
